To get there we have to radically change energy generation, distribution and usage. Implementing smart grids is part of achieving these goals. Based on drivers such as regulation, competition and technology development, smart metering has become the first small step on the road to smart grids.

We believe that the advent of smart meters for consumers and their capabilities for both suppliers and customers, in conjunction with the increasing deregulation that targets the current proprietary solutions in the AMI market, has created a window of opportunity in which it is possible for Netinium to gain a respectable market share in the AMI market and the nascent smart grids market.
We intend to make use of that window of opportunity by inventing, engineering and delivering advanced software that runs as a middleware layer, independent of proprietary device, carrier or backoffice solutions. By offering maximum adaptability, open systems and standards based solutions we will enable our customers to build future-proof, low-risk solutions offering an excellent return on investment.
